Paris Metro and Sleepy Hollow Farms

Today's outfit not only looks great but the price is right as well!  I found this lovely white linen blouse with black bra at Paris Metro offered as a free gift! 


I'm wearing the blouse with the black leather pants included in the gift from Paris Metro.  I'm posing in front of my favorite painting by Scarletti Laval called "Inseperable".  Gold and I picked it up a few months ago at The Colour Factory and if you've never visited The Colour Factory, you need to go!  It is such an inspirational place filled with bright and happy colors.  It is also home to one of our favorite live music acts in Second Life, Somerset, Oh, and Rhode.




I paired the outfit with BAX Ankle Boots and jewelry from Paris Metro to complete the look.



While I was out rambling around SL this morning, I found a lovely shop with some really terrific deals on home and garden items.  After I finished setting everything up in our house, I chilled for a bit on Sleepy Hollow Farm's "Birdie Bench".  This bench, which was offered as the group gift for July, is really well made with one sit animation.  The cute bird on the right even twitters! 



The letter pillows below are available for $10L each from Sleepy Hollow Farms and look great inside our front window.



The LOVE Windows were a free gift from Sleepy Hollow Farms and really add something special to our home.

Going Nautical in Baiastice

Today I am wearing the gorgeous Soft Nautical outfit from Baiastice.  I love the light and fluffy sleeves beautifully detailed with delicate blue embroidery.  The top is cut low in the front and back and the embroidered motifs add just the right touch. 

The pants are cut high and really emphasizes the curves.  I love this shade of blue... not too dark and not too light.

There is a lovely bit of fluffiness around the knees again embroidered using the same motif as the top.  It really adds a nice softness to the line of the trousers.  The shoes are a perfect match for this outfit and are from Baiastice as well.

I've chosen one of my favorite hairstyles from Heart Softens called Rada.  The shape of this updo is elegant while the wispy tendrils allow it to be more casual than formal.  The photos were shot by Gold at Cerridwyn's Cauldron.

aDiva Couture Cookie - Yum Yum !

During a recent stroll through aDiva Couture recently, I spied this cute bit of yumminess aptly named "Cookie".  Since I love cookies, I had to buy it!

It features lovely eyelet top and the cutest little ruffled skirt in SecondLife.  So sweet yet so sexy !

I especially love the stockings that are included with the outfit.  I think the G Field boots are just the right touch to finish off the outfit.

Nilsy's Chain Dress

While Gold and I were dancing to our favorite tunes at The Hangout on Monday, I spied this amazing dress worn by designer Nils Tomorrow.  I knew she must be the creator, so on Tuesday, I searched for this dress in Nils Island Store.  I began to think all was lost when I didn't find it on the first floor, but something told me to check the second floor.  Right there at the top of the stairs was Nilsy's Chain Dress !

Aha!  A quick right-click allowed me to purchase it and I was one happy camper when I saw it in my inventory!  Quickly I teleported home and tried it on......... a perfect fit !

After adding hair from Illusory and shoes from Mstyle, I was ready to go out on the town for a night of dancing with Gold.  We headed over to Sweet Whispers where we caught the end of Wolfie Moonshadow's wonderful show and enjoyed a full hour of the fabulous singer/songwriter PM Bookmite. 

After PM's show, we were delighted to find that DJ Laz Dresler would be spinning great latin music and we stayed to finish off the night in style.

Pretty in Purple Moon



I just love this dress from Purple Moon and was thrilled to find it on sale this week!  The color is lovely and it swirls around my legs in such a dreamy fashion.

The photos were taken at {What Next} where I went for a bit of retail therapy.  I fell in love with the Marin Summer House (in the photo above) and it followed me home. :)

aDiva is Back!

Oh happy day!  The inimitable style of Anne Joy Paine and the aDiva Couture brand is back in Second Life!  In her new location, you'll find many old favorites with juicy newness peppered about.  Anne Joy is a prolific creator and already has many new outfits to make those lindens fly out of your handbag.

It was difficult to choose just one outfit to show you today, but I think I made a good choice.  The Shelly Slip Dress looks great from all sides.  I just love the crocheted panel on the back of the dress.  The dress is available in six yummy colors and each one has two skirt versions; the plain one that I'm wearing and a ruffled version.  There is also a cute bow for the front that I chose not to wear in this version.

 I'm wearing one of my most favorite hair styles, Astrid from Truth Hair.  It is young, fresh, and fun and it looks great for both casual and dressy occasions.

Hair Fair... Been There !

Today Gold and I decided to visit Hair Fair 2011. After 20 attempts at teleporting we both managed to get in. Hurray!!!

We ran through what felt like molasses to visit several vendors and found some fabulous awesomeness !

My favorite find was this cute style called "Yew" from Illusory. A shoulder-length style with bangs and two playful pigtails. I'm wearing the Streaked Vanilla shade and I love the light brown streaks on the left side.

I used my new hair as an excuse to buy a new dress at The Dressing Room.... makes perfect sense to me ! The dress I'm wearing is from A&A Fashion and the lovely necklace is included with the outfit. I love the long flowing skirt paired with the light lacy top. Credits:
